REVISED FINAL REHEARSAL/DRESS REHEARSAL CALENDAR MAY 2019
(All of the information below will be sent home with students at the Thurs. 5/2 Rehearsal.)
Because of testing and FSA, the rehearsal calendar has been revised.
Rehearsals must go later so that we can practice on the stage for rehearsals. (The stage isn’t available until 3pm)
Students that miss dress rehearsals or consistently leave early may risk being removed from the group.
GRANDMA- Floral Dress, Dress Shoes. Mrs. Cloutier will provide gray grandma wig, glasses, and sweater.
GRANDPA- Dress Pants (any color), Dress Shirt (preferably white or light blue, but any color will work as long as the shirt doesn’t have any writing on it). Mrs. Cloutier will provide old man hat, gray mustache, gray eyebrows, and glasses.
MOM- Nice Dress, Dress Shoes, Purse, Fancy Updo
DAD- Dress Pants, Dress Shirt, Suit Jacket if possible.
ALL OTHER STUDENTS (Including the Narrator)- Blue Jeans (not black), and a PLAIN white shirt, and comfortable dancing shoes. Mrs. Cloutier will provide special headbands and colored hats for students with speaking parts.
Each student will be responsible for bringing 2 props for this show.
Students must bring their props in a labeled plastic bag for each rehearsal and take them home after each rehearsal. They cannot be stored in the music room or on the stage. Please make sure you label all of your students items so they aren’t lost or misplaced.
- Non-Working Electronic Device- This show is about kids and their use of electronics. Please make sure that any device used for the show is not one of importance or value…meaning if it gets dropped or broken, it’s no big deal. Students only need to bring 1. Here are some suggestions:
- Broken or Non-working cell phone
- Old portable game devices (like game boy, or similar)
- Old Game Controller
- Old Remote Control
- Kitchen Utensils- There is a song in the show where students use kitchen utensils as musical instruments! Again, please make sure that any kitchen utensil used is not one of importance or value! Also, please NO GLASS utensils. Students only need to bring 1 kitchen utensil instrument. Here are some suggestions. (Feel free to be creative and create your own “kitchen instrument”)
- Plastic bowl with spoon
- Two spoons
- Skillet and Spoon
- 2 wooden spoons
- Wash Board
